Harvard, Higher Ed and the Addiction to the Federal Government

I saw today that Harvard is looking to borrow $750 million due to the potential cancellation of $9 billion in federal grants and contracts.   Now mind you Harvard has the largest university endowment in the world.    The $9 billion number to me and the amount of money and reliance by universities on the Government to me is an eye popping number.    It does make you think that someone needs to look at government spending.  Wow.
